One of my favorite musicians Dave Van Ronk, reveals in his memoirs that he was a hard core jazz purist during his youth.
The only string instrument allowed to be played was the banjo!
So he sold his guitar and bought a banjo instead! The guitar corrupted the music, made it false, non authentic. But the banjo on the other hand was a tool of truth!
And he threw away his cool be bop records and bought only traditional, banjo based, jazz records instead.
Well he grew up, and here´s a clip from the late great Dave van Ronk. Candy Man!
Now there's a fine truth!

ReplyDeleteHello Pro,
ReplyDeleteWell, you know, "Photography is simply a function of noticing things. Nothing more."
And I already notice things, a lot actually.
But if you have other thoughts on photography you´re very welcome!
