She is a recipient of a Guggenheim Foundation fellowship and a Hasselblad Foundation grant.
Her photographs are included in public and private collections, such as the Museum of Modern Art (NY), the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She is represented by Yossi Milo Gallery in New York and Ruth Benzacar Gallery in Buenos Aires.
Her book, "On the Sixth Day", was published by Nazraeli Press in January 2006.
She has photographed for The New York Times Magazine, Life, Newsweek and New York Magazine.

This is a story about Guillermina and Belinda. They are cousins, and live in the farmlands of Argentina, 300 km from Buenos Aires. I met them when they were 4 years old while I was working on "On the sixth day", at their grandmothers' place.I begun to photograph them in 1999 when they were around 9 years old.Now they are 18.
