Blow Up

So here´s a blow up of a picture from "let me be the one who...IX".
Perhaps a key to the mystery unfolding from the old glass plates.
What is ASEA?
Well, I found the answer today. But will it help us solving the mystery.

Yes, ASEA is "Alllmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget", founded in 1883. Before WWII they used the swastika as their symbol, which of course didn't have anything to do with the nazis. Here in Gothenburg you can see the old ASEA-swastika on some old electrical stations and (if I do not mistake myself) also on the really old trams. Another company that also used the swastika as their symbol is Carlsberg (the Danish beer). For obvious reasons both companies change their symbols sometime around WWII. Regards, F. Skott.

So the photos are from Sweden, from before WWII. I wonder what else we might find out about them as we go along?

Not only pre-WWII, even pre-WWI and back to 1910, I believe. The Biofon and the Jugend architecture strongly suggest that some pictures are from that era. Once again, a darn good photographer lived by that time!

Yes, that ASEA was the wellknown Swedish company was the easiest guess. And it turned out it was
the right answer. But the way she holds the book indicates that it is her master husband who is the Engineer possibly working at ASEA.
Is he also the photographer?
Hmm...have to wait for more plates from Tom.
