Where are you Lotti?

There are things that are not that easy to explain.
Like Springsteen.
I normally don't like him very much.
I think he has become an american Lill-Babs.
He has become to popular, to mainstream, to kind for my taste.

But yet, when I listen to Rosalita from -73.
Then I forgot about those things.

Damn.

'Windows are for cheaters, chimneys for the poor
Closets are for hangers, winners use the door
So use it Rosie, that's what it's there for'

Has anyone said it better than that?

Ever?

what a fabulous photograph!!!

Yeah, I find that as I get older I have fewer categorical judgments. I like some things, don't like others, I'm here to enjoy it all :)

I don't quite agree, I'd say Springsteen was a much bigger mainstream star in the 1970s-80s. Now he is more like a dark national poet. Of course he always had a view that could be dark (most people don't seem to realize that Born in the USA is a very bleak song). The difference is that now he doesn't pretend to be celebratory. At least not as often.
