I have seen Gerard's work on different international photo sites as well as his own site for several years now. Always equally impressed, especially with the time-bending feeling he achieves in his bw-works. Also, it is really nice to see someone who is that good at luring out the subtle tones of grey, white and, sometimes, pure black out of a negative. Great to see some new work (at least to me) here on the F blog!

I´m glad you mention the time-bending cause it´s important and i was on my way to mention that too, but was a little too tired to write a long text. Instead i wanted his photography to talk by them self, as they do ;-)

Excellent stuff Gerard. I am especially fond of the first picture with the cross on the hill. Are the picture from Bretagne?
