Grafitti documenters: Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfant

Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfant where two very influential photographers following and documenting the early grafitti culture on Bronx in New York. Martha was employed at New York Post, and Henry was a sculpturer trained at Stanford. Both was captured by the energy and nerve of the early hip hop movement.

Interesting link. At the folklore archive where I work we also have a grafitti documentation from the early 1980's (if I remember it correct). Could this be something interesting for your or the F blog?

nteresting Christian. I have a personal interest in stencil grafitti which i find VERY interesting. For example Banksy. But there are many others.... I shall browse the links :)
