Invited Guest: Robert Popela

I'm so pleased to be able to present Robert Popela's work here on the F Blog. He comes to us from a country rich with photo history, the Czech Republic, and performs his magic in the old fashioned wet darkroom. Does this make him a traditionalist? Not at all -- in fact whenever I see one of his images, I feel like the past and the future have met, if only briefly, and made their meeting visible to the rest of the world. Sometimes surreal, sometimes quite grounded in reality, there's always a spark of magic in Robert's images. I hope you enjoy them, and will visit his website, dida-futi.com to see more of what he does.
