"Hunting season." Wonderful term for it. Still, it is really interesting that a lot of photo language is the same as that for firearms and guns and hunting and the like. We "shoot", "hunt", "take", etc, pictures. As if we needed to reaffirm something, macho-style. Alpha-male status through a lens?
