"Hunting season." Wonderful term for it. Still, it is really interesting that a lot of photo language is the same as that for firearms and guns and hunting and the like. We "shoot", "hunt", "take", etc, pictures. As if we needed to reaffirm something, macho-style. Alpha-male status through a lens?

Of course these images are not macho at all. I was writing in general - about the language photography oftentimes uses.

Great ones, I like the connection between the earthbound decayed architecture and the sky.

Escape routes to something higher, something beyound here and now.

I'm impressed.
