Docu 08 - Independence in Kosova

Pictures were taken during few days before and just after declaration of the independence of Kosovo by Łukasz Kus - polish documentary photographer. Until now the world is divided into recognition and protest. As in every conflict after inventing photography, pictures can show the real life. Only if they are shown to the people... /joanna/

Wonderful, these sort of pictures are what keep me going as a photographer - To show the world what happens in the world, or rather to show the world what has happened before me as i saw it... To take pictures that in 50 years will matter, both to people who lived when they were taken aswell as to young people discovering the bittersweet symphony that is life upon this planet.
