about love and other demons

We walked a while together
Not hand in hand like lovers
Side by side as friends
Kicking leaves in the parks.
Laughing at the future
And I went numb.
And you caught a cold
And talked funny.

And then we just lost each other
Without ever saying a word
Just some: -I’ll see you arounds...

Fifteen years ago...

So
don’t ever laugh at the future.
The present and the past are laughable
Never the future.
Cause the future seems to have a bad temper.
Or at least a strange sense of humour...

This post is like music, bringing up memories from the past. Makes me smile and feel, yes sometimes you long for those sweet old moments.
Wonderful connection between words and picture, as always.

I experienced this exact scenario right up to the point you said 15 years ago, as my incident was just this past fall... I can still hear the leaves crunching under foot, we walked side by side, but I've never felt more familiar with anyone else ever. strange how things work out...
some moments will last a lifetime...

Christofer - i feel i´m without words, breathless, just saying to my self this is stunning - both photos and words.

The photo and words seemed merged into a montage before my eyes with this one...you've struck a chord that can resonate universally...powerful!

such a beautiful photograph, Chris -- i think you and I both concern ourselves whit how we see, as opposed to what we see. So good, this one!
