Thanks to Jeanne I have discovered a great women photographer, Marion Post
Wolcott. There are so many pictures to find by her and I love them all. This
colour picture is pure magic. -urbano

e saddest part of her life story is that when she married, she stopped shooting -- for many many years. she started up again a tiny bit when she was older. I am almost to that part of the biography now, I'll let you know what happens :)

Yes, a wonderful image indeed. Makes me remember the fascination of reading Huckleberry Finn for the first time in my youth...

Jeanne - i believe this is such a common thing for the great talents, only the greates can survive through the difficulties of life. well many polish women photographers did so as well...
